My soul thirsts for God as in a land without water
This is a blog for the sake of bringing spiritual nourishment and encouragement to others.
We're all thirsty for the Word of God--even when we don't realize it.
By the time you realize you're thirsty, you are most likely already dehydrated.
We are desperately thirsty for more of God.
Let us soak deep in His Word and grow in it.

Oh, happiness, there’s grace enough for us and the whole human race. Friend or foe, stranger or kin, all who come begin again. Hard or frail, rich or poor, all in need need fear no more.
Whoever is simple, let him turn in here! As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him, “Come, eat of my bread…Forsake foolishness and live, and go in the way of understanding.
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,” says the Lord God. “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit…
Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.
Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His conpassions fail not.
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I hope in Him!”
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
To the soul who seeks Him.
It is good that one should hope and wait quietly
For the salvation of the Lord.
Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
